Robert Redford 
California-born actor/director Robert Redford is the poster boy man for the rugged, all-American style. Surf blonde hair, blue eyes and steel-y good-looks may have given him head way in Hollywood, but this two time Oscar winning tough guy is also a powerful storyteller, directing of some of the best films we've ever seen in our lives (Ordinary People, The Milagro Beanfield War, Quiz Show). Good looks, great wardrobe and high intellect makes Robert oneof our favorite men of style.

We especially love his desert cowboy look in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid; dusty boots, cord blazer, tight black jeans, white long johns and a cowboy hat.

Miami Vice may not be the most serious of television shows, particularly one that would inspire an impeccable men's collection. But, the costume styling behind Michael Mann's television show has culturally been more influential on intelligent fashion since. Fortunately, the same cannot be said about the acting of Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas.

Bright, pastel henleys and relaxed fit trousers in bright blue and soft peach add a playful and colorful feel.

Tailored suits in light, summer fabrics are paired with casual tartan plaids and comfortable espadrille-like shoes. Together they give every man's inner Miami-undercover cop that casual cool confidence.

Add sexy, Miami-influenced tunes made by synth masters like Sorcerer, a Corvette with modified Ferrari doors and a slick speed boat for added sex appeal.

SF: The Rites of Spring

Drawing inspirations from 1930's Deauville, la garconne icons like Coco Chanel, and vintage French Elle magazine's from the 80's, Filippa K has crafted a women's spring/summer collection that is both classical and strong. Traditional French classics (stripes found on working class boaters and fisherman and bright jewel tones inspired by the sea) are found throughout the nautical-inspired collection.

Structured shoulders, tuxedo-style blazers, and summer peacoats are paired with canary yellow knits, royal blue cotton shorts and candy pink silks. They add a balance of meticulous, masculine tailoring and the lightness/softness of femininity (something Coco Chanel had mastered that influences women in the art of dressing well to this day).
